Meditation has been found to boost the attention span, decrease stress and increase happiness. It can also boost your metabolism, improve your cardiovascular health, slow aging and enhance your immune system.
If you have been looking for a chance to learn more about meditation, come join us at the Marblemount Community Hall on the last Friday of each month. We will be hosting a silent meditation class from 4 to 8 PM. Bring your favorite meditation pillow or mat and get ready to meditate. If you can’t make it to the entire class, no worries—we are more than happy to have you present at any time. We also recommend bringing a blanket that you can easily use to warm up if you get a bit cold.
Starting in February, silent meditation will be hosted on every Friday from 4 to 7. If you can’t arrive on time, there will be breaks every half hour. Feel free to jump in once the break starts. We look forward to seeing you there!
